Dakar 2026 is officially on, and we’re starting smart. Martin Macik, Frantisek Tomasek and David Svanda took on today’s prologue with calm heads and a clear plan. No unnecessary risks, just smooth sailing through 22 kilometres of dust, gravel and sand. The result? 11th place and exactly the kind of clean start we were aiming for before the real madness begins.
“Dakar isn’t won on day one – but it can definitely be lost. Joseph is running well, we stuck to the plan, and we’re happy with how it played out,” says Martin Macik.
And while the race is just getting started, we’ve already launched something special: our brand-new website! It’s the new home for everything about the MM Technology factory team – live updates, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and even a members-only zone where fans can get closer than ever before.
“Every year, we want to offer fans more than just results. This time, they can really experience Dakar with us – see what’s happening behind the curtain and feel like they’re part of the crew,” adds Martin.
Stage 1 kicks off tomorrow with rocky chaos, a pit stop in the middle, and some sandy fun at the end. Joseph’s ready, we’re ready – and it’s full send from here.
