Stage 6 of Dakar 2026 was exactly what you expect from the dunes – long, tough, and full of moments where things can turn quickly. The MM Technology factory crew found themselves in a tight spot at times, but still managed to bring the stage home in 6th place. Dakar knows how to surprise you, and today it certainly took its toll.
Roughly halfway through the stage, one badly judged section of terrain led to a slowdown and a short service stop. The crew had to back off the pace, and Martin, Frantisek, and David reached the finish after dark. One of those days you don’t forget soon. On the bright side, Joseph held up well, the crew is safe and sound – and that’s always what matters most.
After today, truck number 600 sits second overall, and tomorrow brings a well-earned rest day. The perfect chance to reset, recharge, and prepare for the second half of the rally. Dakar is long, the game is wide open, and we’re definitely not stopping. Huge thanks to all our fans and partners for riding along with us – we’re ready to push on!
