The second half of Dakar 2026 is officially underway, and the MM Technology factory crew kicked it off with a solid performance in Stage 7. Over 459 kilometres packed with dust, fast sections and smaller dunes, Martin, Frantisek and David kept a steady pace and brought the truck home in a strong third place.
After the rest day, there was definitely no “warm-up lap.” From the very first kilometres, the pace was sharp, often in thick dust. Even so, the crew stayed calm, avoided mistakes and focused on running their own race. The MMT EVO4, nicknamed Joseph, worked exactly as it should; navigation was spot on, and the factory team once again showed they can deliver consistent performance under pressure.
The second half of the rally has only just begun. The MM Technology factory crew is currently just under 29 minutes off the lead, with plenty of kilometres still ahead. Dakar is far from over, the game is wide open, and the mood in the team remains positive. We’re pushing on and looking forward to the next stages!
