47. ročník Dakar Rally začal zhurta těmi nejtěžšími etapami. Posádka černo-bílého kamionu ze Sedlčan ovládla druhou část maratonské etapy a stylem start-cíl si dojela pro další etapové vítězství. Bez zaváhání proletěli kamenitým terénem a cílovou pásku přeťali před dalšími dvěma kamiony EVO4 pocházejícími z technologického centra MM Technology. V celkovém pořadí zůstávají Martin Macík Jr., František Tomášek a David Švanda stále na prvním místě.
